Company History

Communications Software was formed as a software house in 1971 and we won our first airline contract in 1975 with Laker Airways in the UK. Thus began our 35 year association with the airline industry. These many years of experience in both the aviation and computer industries have resulted in our Open Aviation Strategic Engineering System - OASES: a set of easy to use but functionally sophisticated systems, which drive enhanced efficiencies and reduce costs in all key areas of aviation maintenance.

Based in the UK and Australia, our head office is in Tiptree, and we have regional offices in Derby, Norwich and another close to Gatwick airport. From these four sites we continually develop the OASES suite of programmes and support our growing customer base around the world.

Every year we invite all of our users to join us for the highly successful OASES User Group meeting where we discuss our customers' priorities, review market trends thus driving the OASES development programme and business improvements at Commsoft.

A new on-line customer forum is further improving communications between the Commsoft team and its wide base of customers, creating a strong network amongst OASES users.
